Facing a roof leak after regular hours can be quite distressing. Unfortunately, performing roof work in the dark is not feasible. We prioritise remedial work and aim to initiate it as early as the following day, provided that conditions are favourable.

A proper repaint generally takes us between 3 to 5 days. Good preparation is key to a job that will last. We will fix any structural issues first (fasten loose nails, tiles or iron). Then we will remove any loose or flakey paint. Non-paintable areas are masked off and a number of undercoats and topcoats are applied. As you can appreciate, cost depends on a number of factors including size of the roof, prep required, access and paint costs. We can sometimes offer an estimate over the phone as we can measure your roof using Google Earth or Google Maps. Alternatively we can visit your property in person and provide an estimate.

Yes we do. It’s a great idea to get your roof thoroughly checked every two or three years. Little problems can be inexpensively repaired before they turn into larger, more expensive issues. For example lichen, moss and mould if left unchecked, can eat through the top layers of painted iron and concrete tile roofs. A simple cleaning treatment now can save thousands of dollars later on. We have an excellent safety record and abide by all OSH guidelines. This includes wearing appropriate harnesses, safe handling of chemicals, and safe access to and from roof tops (including scaffolding where required by law). Our safety and your safety is paramount.

Guttering is an integral element of all roofs and something we specialise in as well. Blocked or broken guttering can cause major headaches, both above and below. When foliage accumulates in the gutters, seeds can germinate causing unsightly growth as well as attracting pests such as mosquitoes and birds. We offer a full gutter clean service (utilising a commercial gutter vacuum system which allows our operators to work quickly and efficiently around most houses). Our system has a video camera which allows us to view your gutters and ensure we do a great job for you. In addition to the basic and full cleans, we can also fix or replace broken components, or even install a brand new guttering and down-pipe solution. As always, we will provide a competitive quote.
